Library Program Mission: The mission of the Pat Neff Middle School Library is to
manage an accepting and equitable learning environment;
curate a diverse collection of resources;
foster a devotion to lifelong and independent learning;
and prepare students to succeed in this information age.
Ms. Castro
Ms. Castro is a graduate of Baylor University with a B.A. in English and Spanish and has a Master of Library Science from Sam Houston State University. She has a School Librarian (EC-12) certification and is also certified in English Language Arts, 4-8.
She previously taught English Language Arts in grades 6-8 for nine years, both in Harlingen, TX, and at Pat Neff MS. In 2013, she was named Teacher of the Year at Pat Neff MS.
She has been the librarian at Pat Neff MS for 11 years and is now in her 20th year as an educator.
